Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our team as a Shop Manager at our thriving wine shop. As the Shop Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store ensuring exceptional customer service, and that our inventory is well managed. This is a full time hourly position, 40 hours per week, and includes tips.

The ideal candidate will have prior management experience, preferably in the hospitality field.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all aspects of the store's operations, including opening and closing duties, managing staff, and ensuring all guests receive exceptional service.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve any customer complaints or issues
- Train, mentor, and motivate staff to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional service
- Conduct employee orientation and ensure all staff are knowledgeable about products and store policies
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Maintain visual merchandising standards to enhance the overall store appearance
- Handle timecards and scheduling, administrative tasks, and maintain accurate records
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
